Research and Innovation

At United Solar Group, we are committed to staying at the forefront of renewable energy technology. Our dedicated research and innovation efforts focus on developing advanced solutions in solar, wind, and green hydrogen technologies. We continuously explore new methodologies and technologies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase the viability of renewable energy projects globally.

Green Hydrogen

Green hydrogen is a key focus area for United Solar Group, representing the cutting edge of renewable energy technology. Under the expertise of board member Luciano Giangiordano, a renowned Green Hydrogen Advisor, we are exploring innovative ways to harness green hydrogen as a sustainable energy source. This aligns with our goal of reducing reliance on fossil fuels and contributing to a cleaner, greener planet.

Energy Storage Solutions

Energy storage plays a pivotal role in our approach to renewable energy. We invest in developing efficient energy storage solutions that complement our renewable energy projects. This includes battery storage systems that store excess energy generated by solar and wind projects, ensuring a consistent energy supply and enhancing grid stability.

Carbon Credits and

Market Development

A significant aspect of our innovation strategy is developing the carbon market. We are creating and monetising carbon credits, which is a cornerstone of our financial strategy. For example, our project in Sri Lanka, involving the rehabilitation of a water tank, is set to create one million metric tons of carbon benefits. This equates to one million carbon credits, with current prices ranging between $80 to $100 per metric ton due to alignment with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Global Impact

Our innovative approaches in technology and carbon market development contribute significantly to our global impact. By integrating cutting-edge renewable technologies and creating new financial models through carbon credits, we are not only advancing in the field of renewable energy but also contributing to a sustainable future.
